These are album cover redesigns. The first two are for a future 10th Anniversary Edition of The Rolling Stones' 2023 release, Hackney Diamonds. This was a longer project, involving research on the band, other covers or artwork, and an analysis of the album's sounds and themes. We were tasked with choosing an album of our liking and coming up with two entirely different proposals for redesigned front and back covers, using a single typeface. I designed the covers using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop, with an emphasis on typographical grids for the text, most evidently on the blue cover, where I challenged myself to work with a circular grid.
